14 year old Devanshi Galundia of Bhilwara is the youngest record holder in Snooker.

Devanshi Galundia made an entry in the Limca book of World records in the field of Snooker. She has participated thrice in National competition. Following the footsteps of mother and grand mother(nani), Devanshi plays with an unbeatable passion. The most amazing fact is that all three of them have established World records in snooker.

Devanshi’s mother Pooja created a record as the youngest snooker player at the age of 14 in National Championship. Devanshi broke this record by participating in the Nationals at the age of 9 and her name was registered in the Limca book. Devanshi is now preparing for the World championship(under -16) of International Billiards and Snooker Federation to be held in Russia.

Mother Pooja(47) and Nani Renu(67) have won a lot of medals in snooker. Pooja Galundia is a Textile dealer in Bhilwara. 2 years after winning the first Nationals competition, she even bagged the championship medals. She and her mother Renu hold a record of playing together in a competition. Pooja carved a niche for herself in world level in Billiards in Top-8 and in Top-32 in Snooker. She has been an All India Champion four times and runner-up five times. Her name is included in the list of Top Snooker snookers of the world. Pooja Galundia’s mother Renu Bharkatiya is a resident of Indore in Madhya Pradesh. She won a bronze in billiards in Cambridge in the year 2006.

The Grandmother-Mother-Daughter trio will have their names in Guiness Book of World Record for playing together for three generations playing together in Snooker – Billiards National International competitions. This will be a record of its own kind. No such record has ever been made before.

They have a billiards-snooker room at home where they practice together daily. A coach is called for from Mumbai two to three months before any competition. Even Renu Bharakatiya has a snooker table at home. Pooja got a billiards table as a wedding gift from her mother Renu.
