Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) hosted a press conference today to present a 25 point agenda in the upcoming University elections.

Pankaj Borana, President of MLSU Student Union said, “We have successfully accomplished many tasks during the past year and on the basis of our past work we hope that students will to take us through to a win this time as well.

The 25 point declaration includes many things, which were not completed last year and some new points were also added.

All senior members of ABVP were present in the press conference in support of their election candidate, Surbhi Jain, Reenu Meena and Sunil Kalyan who are contenders for the post of Joint Secretary, Treasurer and Vice President respectively.

A couple of important declarations out of the 25 point paper by Borana and his team include increasing the daily Salary of PhD holders working as Guest Faculty from Rs.325 to Rs.500 and increasing the Sports Allowance from Rs.150 to Rs. 300 of students who represent the University in sports tournaments.

Borana said that increasing the hostel accommodation count is also a priority along with allotting admission to needy students.

University Student Elections are scheduled on 24^th August. This year as NSUI is out of the race for President, a demanding competition is expected between rivals ABVP and CSS. The ABVP also declared the name of its candidate from the Meera Girls panel.
