ABVP’s State Association Secretary Mithilesh Gautam informed that today the Mohanlal Sukhadiya University was closed down by the ABVP students as part of a National level agitation against the atrocities in Assam against BODO tribes.

ABVP Secretary alleged that these atrocities are done by the Bangladshi Muslim infiltrators.  He also informed that all the Universities across Rajasthan were forcibly closed down by our students including the universities of Jaipur, Jopdhpur, Kota and Bikaner.

Meanwhile, Pankaj  Borana is the official candidate for MLSU (President) as announced by ABVP in a press conference today.

Pankaj is an ABVP member from 2005 and started his political career from the Commerce College.  As per the  Linghdoh Committee’s Recommendations, putting up posters of candidates across the city is a violation of the code of conduct.  On being queried for this,   Mithilaesh Gautam ABVP’s State Association Secretary said that we follow the Committee’s recommendations and no poster was put on after the code of conduct was applied.  He also alleged NSUI for breaking the code of conduct at Rajasthan University Jaipur.

University elections are scheduled to be held on 18^th of August and both NSUI and ABVP are working hard on the elections.

ABVP will declare the candidate for Maharana Pratap Agricultural University (MPAUT) in the coming days.
