Following the upcoming Legislative Assembly Election, training sessions of the Booth Level Officers (BLO) was conducted today at Town Hall’s Sukhadia Rangmanch. An Election Control Room was also inaugurated by District Collector.

400 BLOs from the city and rural areas of Udaipur took part in the session which includes all procedures of voting, problems and elucidation etc.

Preparing voter list, monitoring booth, keeping close vigil at booth and reacting quickly on any serious situation was part of the training, informed a BLO.

District Collector Ashutosh Pednekar inaugurated an Election Control Room today at Collectorate. The control room will provide all updated information related to elections.

Veerendra Pancholi, of election control room said besides keeping all updated information, the control room will also receive complaint about politicians who break election’s code of conduct.
