Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, has unveiled the statue of legendry congress leader of Mewar Late Gulab Singh Shaktawat.

 

Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, has unveiled the statue of legendry congress leader of Mewar Late Gulab Singh Shaktawat.

On this occasion, Ashok Gehlot was accompanied with Dr. C.P Joshi, Ms. Girija Vyas, Mangilal Garasia, Babulal Nagar, Raghuveer Singh Meena ,Ramlal Jat and many other prominent leaders and party workers.

Ashok Gehlot Paid Tribute to Late. Gulab Singh Shaktawat When Chief Minister Gehlot’s chopper reached Bhinder at 11:30 am, he was welcome by a large crowd of people and dignitaries.

Mr. Gehlot and the family members of late Gulab Singh Shaktwat were heartily welcomed by party workers and afterward they reached the monument of Late Shaktawat to do the unveiling.

In a speech addressed to hundreds of people, Ashok Gehlot had shed light on the life of Late Shaktawat who was known as the “Bapu” of Mewar; relating his characteristics to Mahatama Gandhi. The Chief Minister appealed to people to live in harmony and unity.

The convoy of the CM later left for Chittorgarh.

Many political gurus are guessing that Gehlot’s frequent visit to the Mewar region is to generate a strong hold of the congress but uncertainties are prevailing in Gehlot’s management.

As reported by IN NEWS Udaipur, the specially assigned area for reporters were occupied by party workers, though media persons somehow managed to cover the story by adjusting themselves on a table. The scorching heat and lack of drinking water caused big trouble for people present there.
