BJP celebrated with fireworks and distributed sweets after the appointment of Gulabchand Kataria as the leader of opposition in the State Assembly and Vasundhara Raje as the State President of Bhartiya Janta Party.

The move came along as a preparation of upcoming assembly elections in 2013. Party President Rajnath Singh announced the appointments today in front of other senior leaders of the party.

Udaipur district BJP congratulated Kataria for his selection as the leader of opposition. Kataria will be welcomed on his arrival in the city by party workers.
