Top BJP leaders and party members sat on a fast outside collectorate area today. This fasting was carried out at the behest of a call made by PM Narendra Modi.
The BJP leaders carried out the fast to demonstrate against the opposition parties and claimed that the opposition parties were trying to strangulate democracy and hold the parliamentary functioning at ransom.
State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria and MP Arjun Lal Meena participated in the fast. A large number of party workers also participated in the fasting protest.
