BJP MLA passes away in Udaipur
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kalyan Singh passed away at the GBH American Hospital in Udaipur from prolonged illness today morning. Singh was on ventilator for last four days.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kalyan Singh passed away at the GBH American Hospital in Udaipur from prolonged illness today morning. Singh was on ventilator for last four days.
Singh, an MLA from Nathdwara, was suffering from cancer since last three years. Given his deteriorating health, he was in GBH American Hospital for last few days. C.P. Joshi had also visited him a few days back in hospital during his visit to Udaipur. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has expressed condolences on the demise of the BJP MLA.
Singh had come into limelight after defeating CP Joshi in Vidhan Sabha elections in 2008 by 1 vote. The case had reached High Court after which Singh was declared victorious.
