BJP Prepares for Statewide Bandh in support of Kataria
Agitated by the CBI’s allegation against Gulabchand Kataria, leader of the opposition’s involvement in Sohrabuddin’s fake encounter; BJP activists of Udaipur protested outside District Collector’s office and announced Statewide strike on 18th May.
Agitated by the CBI’s allegation against Gulabchand Kataria, leader of the opposition’s involvement in Sohrabuddin’s fake encounter; BJP activists of Udaipur protested outside District Collector’s office and announced Statewide strike on 18th May.
Arun Chaturvedi, Vice President of State BJP reached Udaipur today and also hosted a press conference. Chaturvedi told media that Kataria’s name in Soharbuddin encounter is a part of a political conspiracy and government is misusing CBI.
Calling anti government and anti-CBI slogans, activists presented a memorandum in the name of President of India to District Collector. BJP party has extended their support to Kataria and said that Gulabchand Kataria is innocent and has no connection with the said encounter.
A rally was started from town hall and passed through several areas of the city and concluded at Collectorate.
