District level BJP leaders continued their protest against the recent increase in rates of electricity units by laying a demonstration today in front of the Collectorate. The protest of BJP against the said rise has been going on for the past three days.

District President of BJP, Dinesh Bhatt, Mayor Rajni Dangi, Ex-Chairman Ravindra Shrimali, State Minister Pramod Samar, Mahila Morcha District President, Alka Mundra, Yuva Morcha District President, Jinendra Shastri were present in protest, along with a crowd of BJP supporters and party workers.

Since the last three days BJP has been protesting against the rise in rates of electricity and has presented memorandums on the same issue. Today the protest was supported by all the District level leaders together at the Collectorate.

Dinesh bhatt said, “Increase in rates of electricity in these days of inflation is a curse on citizens and is a byproduct of ineffective governance.”

Leaders of the opposition demanded revision in rates of unit electricity and asked for reduction.
