Thousands of people participated in the mass rally of Bharitya Janta Party prior to Narendra Modi’s address at Bhandari Darshak Mandap (Gandhi Ground).

The rally which was started from Town Hall passed through several city circles and areas including Bapu Bazar, Surajpol, Bada Bazar, Ghanta Ghar, Hathipol, Chetak and concluded at Gandhi Ground.

Rally was led by Vasundhra Raje, state president of BJP and Gulabchand Kataria leader of the opposition and Kiran Maheshwari. Several other local and state leaders of BJP were also present in the rally.

Dressed in the traditional mewari attires, holding saffron flag of BJP and chanting pro-modi slogans, BJP activists were seen excited over Modi’s arrival in the city.

All main roads of the city were blocked and traffic was diverted to other routes.

Thousands of people from the rural areas of Udaipur district arrived in the city to hear Narendra Modi.

Narendra Modi is expected to arrive at 4:30pm and will address the crowd.
