All political party candidates submitted their expense report at the Expenditure office at Zila Parishad Building today. The parties disclosed the amount of money they have spent during the election campaigns and other programs they did till 2^nd April 2014.

Bhartiya Janta Party topped the list with an amount of Rs.6,30,655 spent on election campaign while Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist)of India remained the lowest by spending just Rs.19000.

Indian National Congress (Rs.3,53,649), Communist Party of India (Rs.38,768), Bahujan Samaj Party (Rs.24,115), Bahujan Mukti Party (Rs.33,000), Socialist Party of India (Rs.28,415) and Aam Aadmi Party (Rs.37,819).

According to rules by Election Commission, each party candidate can spend Rs.70 Lac for election related campaigns, meetings etc.
