Dr. C P Joshi, road transport minister in the central government have got the additional responsibility of Railway Ministry in the central cabinet until reshuffle which is bound to take place by next week.

Hindustan Times reported that earlier this morning, power minister M Veerappa Moily, law minister Salman Khurshid, minister of state for telecom and IT Sachin Pilot and Dr C P Joshi cancelled their foreign visits in the wake of upcoming reshuffle.

Chief posts at some central ministries, which were held by the ministers of TMC, have been emptied by recent resignation of their heads after the exit of Mamta Banerjee lead Trinmool Congress (TMC) from United Progressive Alliance (UPA).

Other than Railway Ministry, there are six more places left for the Manmohan’s council of ministers.
