The upcoming events on their calendar include commemorating the 150th Death Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in the last week of this month and cornering Congress MPs for resignation of P. Chidambaram.
The organization called for cornering Raghuveer Meena, Member of Parliament from Udaipur to ask for the resignation of P.Chidambaram. “Mr. Chidambaram still holds a Ministry after facing numerous allegations over his involvement in the 2G scam.An unbiased investigation needs to be launched on his role in the scam and if found guilty, he must be made an example of”, said Sunil Chaturvedi, State President of ABVP, in the press conference held after the meeting.
Chaturvedi also said that the Central Government of UPA is the root of cause of all corruption which has left a negative impact on economic growth and the image of India at the international stage. He demanded that the Government must take a strong action on the issue of bringing back the Black Money of Indians stored at various banks overseas.
ABVP has planned for a workshop on 28th and 29th July to mark the 150th Death Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The members will preach the Swami’s teachings to masses and his thoughts will be discussed.
