While the Janta is waiting for the BJP to announce its Chief Minister in all the three states that it won after this weeks result, sources from the pary have dropped hints that the top brass is considering new faces in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh to take up the role of Chief Minister in these states.

The largest party in India, is now probably taking a stance on generational change and looking at new faces to take up leadership roles in these states. The incumbent Chief Minister of MP, Shivraj Chouhan who has been at the helm in MP for four terms has also dropped a hint to this effect to the party's leadership, as per sources.

While there have been speculations on Baba Balak Nath as Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje is the popular choice. A viral message being spread on Social Media claims that Baba Balaknath has been appointed the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, and Diya Kumari is the Dy CM. BJP X (formerly Twitter) account has confirmed that the letter is a fake.

If the plan to plant new faces in these positions take shape, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat or Diya Kumari may also be in line for CM in Rajasthan. It is said that these changes are being considered looking at the Lok Sabha Elections that are due in 2024. Names of possible CMs in Madhya Pradesh if the new face option materialises, include Prahlad Singh Patel, Kailash Vijayvargia and Jyotiraditya Scindia. Raman Singh, the ex-CM of Chhatisgarh and Arun Rao are the contenders for the top post in Chhatisgarh.
