A week after the BJP released its manifesto in Rajasthan to woo voters for the upcoming assembly elections in the state, the Congress party released its election manifesto on Tuesday, 21 November. The main highlights of the manifesto focuses on jobs, caste and financial support.

While addressing the media, Kharge said that even in the last assembly elections, the public manifesto issued by the Congress was approved by the Cabinet and given the status of a policy-making letter as soon as it came to power. The government claims that it has fulfilled more than 90 percent of the promises made in that manifesto.
Even before announcing the manifesto, Congress has already issued 7 guarantees for the Rajasthan Assembly elections. This includes financial assistance of Rs 10,000 annually to women, Gas Cylinder to all for Rs 500, free Tab or Laptop to the youth taking admissions in government colleges, disaster relief insurance of Rs 25 lakh and purchase of cow dung from farmers. Laws for old pension scheme for employees and announcement of promotion of English medium schools in government schools are included.
