District Congress gears up for Krishi Mandi Elections
Krishi Upaj Mandi, Udaipur is all set for an election this month and for the purpose the District Congress Udaipur (Rural) conducted a pre-election meeting today at Bhandari Darshak Mandap.
Krishi Upaj Mandi, Udaipur is all set for an election this month and for the purpose the District Congress Udaipur (Rural) conducted a pre-election meeting today at Bhandari Darshak Mandap.
Various aspects of the upcoming elections which are due on 19th of this month,were discussed by the presiding political leaders of the party.
Lal Singh Jhala – District Congress President ( Rural), Raghuveer Singh Meena – MP, Gajendra Singh Shaktawat –M.L.A, Sajjan Katara – M.L.A (Rural) were present at the meeting.
Various positions to contest for, have been declared for the upcoming elections and the elections will fall under three main categories.
First category comprises of farmers where representatives from 8 areas namely Girva, Godunda, Kotra, Kherwara, Jhadol, Sarada, Salumbar and Badgaon will stand to contest for the position.
Second category is defined for the businessmen and agents of the area and the third category is for individuals responsible for stock management of the cereals etc.
Various leaders and representatives from blocks, municipal council, krishi mandi and DCC were present today to discuss the election processes.
The chief election officer will be District Collector of Udaipur
Vote counting will take place on August 28, 2011 at office of Krishi Upaj Mandi Udaipur.
