Ex CM of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot visited Udaipur today, during his travel Gehlot is also going to Nathdwara, Salumber and Pali.

 

Ex CM Asok Gehlot in Udaipur Ex CM of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot visited Udaipur today, during his travel Gehlot is also going to Nathdwara, Salumber and Pali.  He was warmly welcomed by a number of senior leaders of the party including Lal Singh Jhala the Head of Dehat Zila Congress, Pukhraj Parashar Congress Divisional In charge and many other party activists.

While addressing media, Gehlot emphasized on making a relief fund for underprivileged people suffering from serious diseases like Cancer, Kidney Disorders and Heart Attack, he said that the Government should make some arrangement to provide free medical facility for the people or should make a scheme under that a monthly premium can be raised from them to give the benefits at the time of need.

Gehlot also highlighted that the state really needs the refinery as it will generate employment for the people and revenue for the government itself. He urges the government to reconsider its decision over it. He expressed his objection on the decision of shifting the Tribal University from Udaipur to Banswara,

By highlighting the achievements of their party Gehlot claimed that his government was the first to implement the Food Security Act, as well as the party has created a record of generating 7500 Megawatt of electricity in last 5 years.

“Government has mislead the people by promising electricity for 24 hours as many are still living their lives without electricity, along with that people are also strongly reacting on matter Ration Cards, E-Mitra and availability  of  Pension” Gehlot claimed.

Gehlot also raised the issue of allegation of discrimination by Udaipur District Collector with Zila Pramukh and another case of an IAS officer Umrao Salodia. Ashok Gehlot said “in this modern world there should be no space for any religious or caste discrimination, such acts are unacceptable from educated people and society.”
