The results of the much awaited elections for the working committee at the Field Club were announced late evening today, 8^th April.

Satyendrapal Singh Chhabra (Tinku) was elected to the post of Secretary, while Yashwant Anchaliya was chosen for the post of Vice President.  The post of Treasurer was decided in favor of CA Manish Nalwaya.

The winners to the Executive Member seats were: Rakesh Chordia (First place); Anish Dhing (Second place); Dr. Lalit Sharma (Third place); Abbas Ali Bhalamwala (Fourth place) and Jasnit Singh Pawa (Fifth place) Earlier during the day, a lot of activity was witnessed during the morning and noon hours as the entire road from the Fatehpura Police chowki right till the entrance to Saheli Nagar was choc-a-bloc with four wheelers, SUVs, two wheelers, police vehicles and people.  There was a tremendous rush of members who were there to cast their votes, the candidates, their support teams and the administration.

The celebrations, which are expected to continue into late night partying will be more for rejoicing the effort for an activity that took place within the most peaceful of scenarios and in a manner that is suitable to the status of the institution that is Field Club.

The club is a home for most of the professionals and business families of the city. Many elite personalitiesof Udaipur have been associated with the Field Club, which includes former Chief Minister Mohal Lal Sukhadia, former President of Board of Control for Cricket in India, Raj Singh Dungarpur, industrialists P.P. Singhal and Ibrahim Engineer.
