Gandhi ground, Udaipur is likely to be the venue for PM Narendra Modi’s election rally in Udaipur. PM Modi is slated to host an election rally in Udaipur on 22nd Apr ahead of Lok Sabha election voting in Udaipur on 29-Apr.

Gulab Chand Kataria carried out a survey of Gandhi ground along with other State Party leaders to check the feasibility of holding the rally here.

Earlier State leaders were contemplating holding the gathering at Khel Gaon like PM Modi’s last rally in Udaipur on 29-Aug-2017. However, an astro hockey turf has been laid at a cost of Rs 4.28 Cr at the place where the gathering was done last time. It was felt that hosting the rally there might damage the ground and hence the option was ruled out.
