Present State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria today filed his nomination from Udaipur for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections. A large number of BJP members were present on the occasion.

Before the filing process, Kataria addressed a gathering at Bapu Bazaar and then proceeded for his nomination filing.

Along with Kataria, the present MLA from Udaipur (Rural), Phool Singh Meena also filed his nomination.

At the time of Kataria’s nomination filing, Deputy Mayor Lokesh Dwivedi, UIT Chairman Ravindra Shrimali and a large number of corporators were present.

While Kataria has filed his nomination, the list from Congress is still awaited. While the name of Girija Vyas as the Congress candidate is doing the rounds, the official word is still awaited.

Bharat Kumawat from Aam Aadmi Party also filed his nomination for the assembly election from Udaipur today.
