Honor Ceremony in Memory of Veteran BJP Leader
A ceremony in memory of the late veteran politician Sundar Singh Bhandari of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) was held today in Udaipur. As well as being a member of the party, he was also designated as the governor of the states of Gujarat and Bihar.

On the 6th death anniversary of Sundar Singh Bhandari, which falls on 22nd June 2011, the Sundar Singh Bhandari Charitable Trust has organized a function for people to pay their respects at Sukhadia Rang Manch, where approximately 15 dedicated party workers, all above the age of 80 years, who had served the party for long were also honoured.
These party workers are Dharm Narayan Awasthi, Bhavar Lal Sharma and Dhan Prakash Tyagi from Jaipur, Hari Shankar Bhabda from Nagor, Krishna Kumar Goyal and Lalit Kishore Chaturvedi from Kota, Raghuveer Singh Kaushal from Bara, Vridamal Singhvi from Jodhpur, Mulchand Ajmera from Bhilwara, Bhanu Kumar Shastri, Madan Lal Dhupad, Shyam Kumari Saingar and Mohan Singh Vardia from Udaipur, Champa Lal Bantia from Barmer and Ram Chandra Bagora from Rajsamand.
The function was addressed by BJP Leader Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi who was also the chief guest of the function. Other notable party workers who attended the event were Kiran Maheshwari, Babulal Kharadi, Gulabchand Kataria, Rajni Dangi along with many other BJP party workers.
Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi gave a detailed speech on the 2G Spectrum scam and it’s in and out to the present attendees at the function which was started at 7pm.
In a press conference held at Udaipur’s Circuit House, Dr. Joshi, who is the chairman of public accounts committee divulged the loss occurred due to 2G Spectrum scam. He said that if the scam money would not be recovered, then all given licensees will be canceled at the only step would be taken is re-auction.
