The Income Tax department has initiated a raid on the premises belonging to Uday Lal Aanjana, in Udaipur.

Multiple teams comprising of around dozen officers from the Income Tax department reached his office "Chetak Enterprises Ltd" on Saturday afternoon in six different cars.  The office is located at New Fatehpura in Udaipur. The team has rounded up the staff in the office and are questioning them on various matters.

Uday Lal Aanjana is the Cooperative Minister in the Rajasthan Cabinet and has been given a ticket from Nimbaheda to contest in the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly Elections, which will be held on 25 November. Interestingly, there have been multiple raid conducted by IT and ED in the last few weeks on Congress leaders in Rajasthan, indicating a certain momentum or strategy for the opposition party, leading up to the state elections.
