District Congress committees marked the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru at their respective offices today. Both committees (City and Rural) organized meetings and paid honor to Pandit Nehru.

Congress party workers gathered at the residence of Neelima Sukhadia, President District Congress Committee and remembered Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. Party workers offered flowers on the photograph of Jawaharlal Nehru and remembered him.

A similar program was held at the office of Dehat Zila Congress (Rural congress committee) headed by Lal Singh Jhala, President of the committee.

Along with Lal Singh Jhala, district president Madhu Mehta and other party workers were also present on the occasion.
