Chatra Sangarsh Samiti (CSS) protested against BJP leader Gulabchand Kataria terming unfair the ticket distribution for upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections. Protesters expressed their feelings by burning an effigy of Kataria.

CSS leaders Amit Paliwal, Dilip Joshi and other activists gathered at Ayad Bridge and protested against Kataria.

CSS leaders alleged Kataria of being partial and for taking decisions on the basis of caste. Amit Paliwal said “Kataria doesn’t let Brahmin community come forward. He is against youth and doesn’t get involved in any development of the city.”

According to sources, several leaders of BJP are unhappy since no Brahmin candidate has been allotted ticket for any of the 28 seats of Udaipur region.

CSS protest against Kataria also possibly has this undercurrent but it has not been officially stated by any CSS leader.

Supporters of Dharm Narayan Joshi also staged protest outside BJP office today. The protestors expressed anger as Joshi was not given the MLA ticket from Mavli.
