Filing for nominations for fourth phase of Lok Sabha election started today. The fourth phase elections are slated for Apr 29 and Udaipur also goes to vote in this phase.
Filing of nominations started today, 2nd April for 13 out of 25 parliamentary constituencies fo Rajasthan. Rajasthan Chief Electoral Officer Anand Kumar said that nomination papers will be accepted from 11am to 3pm from 2-Apr-2019 till 9-Apr-2019. The papers will undergo scrutiny on Apr 10 and last date for withdrawal of nominations is Apr 12, 2019.
13 Rajasthan parliamentary constituencies that will go to vote on 29-Apr include Udaipur, Ajmer, Pali, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota and Jhalawar-Baran.
BJP is yet to declare its candidate for Rajsamand and Barmer while Congress has announced its candidates for all 25 parliamentary constituencies in Rajasthan.
No nominations were filed today on the first day of nomination across the State.
