Lokayukta to visit Udaipur: Common People can Submit Complains

Justice G.L Gupta, Lokayukta Rajasthan is arriving to Udaipur on September 9, 2011. He is going to attend a meeting with representatives of private organizations and a meeting with state level officers is also scheduled.

Lokayukta to visit Udaipur: Common People can Submit ComplainsJustice Gupta is also going to attend a public meeting where he will also receive complaints or grievances from individuals, if any.

According to the information provided from the district collector’s office, Justice G.L Gupta will attend a meeting with a group of delegation from private sector on 9th September morning at 10:30 am at Circuit House and will also accept written complaints from common people.

Justice Gupta will be accompanied by R.K Bansal, Assistant Commissioner, Central Vigilance Commission.

On the same day from morning 11am to 12:30 pm, Lokayukta Justice Gupta will address state level officers in a meeting to be held in collectorate compound. He will go to Nathdwara on the same day in evening.

How to communicate or complain to Lokayukta?

Anyone who is not a public servant can complain to Lokayukta by writing a detailed complaint which can be submitted after fulfilling certain formalities that include court fees, stamp of 50 paisa and a non-judicial stamp of Rs. 10 examined by a magistrate and a letter of pledge with it, which is necessary.

Complain related to any case or judgment or order should not be 5 years older from the date of presenting it to Lokayukta.

Complains only against Public Servant

Letter of complaint should be only against person working as a public servant under Government of Rajasthan.

For every public servant, complainer should write distinct letter with detailed allegations.

The letter will be transferred to Central Vigilance Commission. If there are several complains referring to one particular subject or person then any one person can give his letter to the Lokayukta.

Employees of district courts don’t come under the jurisdiction of Lokayukta.
