Mobile Administration – a government initiative for rural areas
The Mobile Administration vehicle, an initiative of the Ashok Gehlot government, today arrived at Kotda village, a remote aboriginal (‘aadivaasi’) village located on the outskirts of Udaipur. Residents of the village were able to utilize the services of the Mobile Administration vehicle, through which they were able to process a two month long process in a couple of hours; something which resulted in many a happy citizens.

The Mobile Administration model initiative is one of the vehicles through which the state government plans to develop the rural and aboriginal areas.
Addressing a gathering on this occasion, Minister of State for Youth and Sports, Mangilal Garasiya said that a few days back, the Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot had celebrated his birthday amongst the residents of Kotda and during this interaction, came face to face with the problems of the villagers.
It is the result of this interaction which led the government to initiate the Mobile Administration vehicle, which will be visiting each village in Kotda every Thursday and provide immediate solutions to the people.
Also addressing the gathering, Udaipur MP Raghuveer Singh Meena said that this initiative is an example of how the well has been brought near the thirsty (a hindi proverb).
Explaining further about the Mobile Administration Vehicle, the District Collector said that this is the only bus under this scheme in which officials of Nine departments are available together, to address a vast latitude of problems.
