PM Narendra Modi has impressed Jim Yon Kim, World Bank President, who says the the PMs leadership has been inspiring.

The kind of ambitious targets Modi sets, is something all great leaders need to do, he said. “Economically, Modi has done well”, he added.

Pledging full support to the Indian Government’s programs, especially in the fields of renewable energy and nutrition Kim said that he is a “Fan” of Narendra Modi.

On the sidelines of Modi’s talks with World Bank President, the global lender pledged a loan of USD 1 Billion to the country’s Solar Energy Projects – its biggest solar aid to any country, after India committed to increase its Solar potential to 100 Watts by 2020, a 30 fold increase.
