The nomination process for the state legislative elections which are scheduled on 1^st Dec 2013 has been announced today, notifying all interested candidates and political parties for the procedure.

Election commission of India has announced nomination process to be filed with appointed Returning Officer (RO).

In Udaipur Mohammad Yaseen Pathan, Additional District Magistrate (City) is appointed as RO. The applicant can also file his or her nomination with Assistant Returning Officer (Tehsildar) UIT.

According to the sources, last date for filing nomination is 12^th November, while list of eligible candidates would be out by 13^th November.

For those who wish to withdraw names for the lists can intimate RO by 16^th November.

According to Yaseen Pathan, on first day of filing nomination, none of the candidates showed up.

Sources added that both BJP and Congress have shortlisted individuals for the Assembly Election, though they have not officially announced name of their candidates.
