Much awaited university elections finally came to an end with Paramveer Singh Chundawat (C.S.S) & Praveen Kumar elected as the President of MLSU and MPUAT, Udaipur for the session 2011-12. Total voting percentage was 57% in MLSU election.

 
Much awaited university elections finally came to an end with Paramveer Singh Chundawat (C.S.S) & Praveen Kumar elected as the President of MLSU and MPUAT, Udaipur for the session 2011-12. Total voting percentage was 57% in MLSU election. Paramveer Singh is a newly elected President of MLSUDespite heavy rains early in the morning the students came to campus to vote for their leader. The heavy showers could not resist the enthusiasm of the students and the supporters who gathered in large number at their respective colleges. The voting came to an end at 1pm and the counting of the votes started at 3 pm. Pankaj Borana won as the President of College of Commerce and Management Studies, a constituent college of MLSU with 880 votes. (MSLU more detail) The winners to the post of Presidential post in other constituent colleges of MLSU are: Indrajeet Singh, College of Science, Kailash Dangi -College of Law. Sukhdev Chaudhary was declared victorious as the President of College of Dairy and Food Science Technology, a constituent college of MPUAT. He won by 22 votes whereas Sumer Singh became the President of CTAE. He defeated his opponent by just 5 votes. (MPUAT more detail) Declaration of the result sent a wave of happiness amongst the supporters and they garlanded their candidates and celebrated the victory. They could be seen shouting and yelling with joy and happiness.
