The Student Union election of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University is scheduled on 30^th August. The participating parties have started announcing candidates for the post of University President. On the other hand, participants are organizing fresher parties for students.

Chatra Sangharsh Samiti (CSS) and ABVP have officially declared their candidates. Kunal Kumawat of CSS is participating in election for post of University President, while Devendra Chundawat of ABVP would be contender for the post. Himanshu Choudhary is an independent contender on post of President.

As part of election campaign, CSS organized a joint event on Raksha Bandhan and Independence Day where hundreds of students participated. In the same series, female students will be tying Rakhi on wrist of Kunal Kumawat and other party members on 9^th August.

Sources added that CSS is one of the strongest sides in University Election as it has been registering huge win from past couple of years. ABVP on the other hand has opted for Devendra Chundawat as contender, after declining Himanshu Choudhary who is an independent candidate now.
