Contestants of upcoming assembly elections have started promoting themselves by visiting potential voters and appealing for their support.

Congress contestant Dinesh Shrimali visited residents and shopkeepers and asked to vote for him, whereas BJP also conducted door-to-door campaign at old city area.

The political atmosphere in the city is escalating as elections are approaching. Gulabchand Kataria, BJP leader and contestant from Udaipur city held a meeting and directed his party members to make a team according to ward. Kataria also asked members to execute campaign in peaceful way, taking care of the election’s code of conduct.

BJP party activists visited the old city areas of Variyon ki Ghati, Kasaro ki Ol, Badnaur ki Haveli, Babelo ki Sehri, City Palace Road, Nav Ghat etc and contacted local residents.

On the other side Kataria’s opponent Dinesh Shrimali also visited local shopkeepers of Hathipol area and appealed everyone to support him. Shrimali also inaugurated the new election office at ward No. 52.
