Caricature by Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore

Pranab Mukhrjee was elected as the 13^th President of India today.  The former Finance Minister, Pranab Mukhrjee got support from 527 out of the total 748 MPs.

Mukharjee’s rival for the position, P.A. Sangma secured 206 in his favor.  Pranab will be given the oath of office by the Chief Justice of India on 25^th July, 2012 at 11.30 AM.

On his previous visit to Udaipur at MLSU, Udaipur; Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, Assosiate Professor, BNIPS drew a well-appreciated caricature of Pranab Mukhrjee himself. The sketch was admired by Mukharjee too and he gave his autograph on the sketch.
