Rural Congress Committee protest against re-constitution of Panchayats

The District Rural Congress Committee today stood against the re-constitution of Panchayats by BJP. A meeting was organized under presidency of Lal Singh Jhala, President, District Rural Congress, Rajasthan. The meeting decided to hold mass demonstration at District Collectorate against irregularities of re-constitution.

Hemant Shrimali, Spokesperson, District Rural Congress, informed, “BJP has re-constituted number of Panchayats without giving any prior information to the opposition party. The re-constitution has lots of irregularities, in which maximum population of each Panchayat Samiti is 3 thousand which was 10 thousand earlier.”

Shrimali further informed, “District Rural Congress will present memorandum to Governor against this. It will also be handed over to district collector.”
