University Election fever is on a high and in the midst of all this, student leaders filed their nominations today for the post of University President and College Level President.

Student Leaders File Nominations for University Election-2014

The one day nomination process that started earlier this morning, continued till afternoon. The contenders including Himanshu Choudhary, Devendra Singh Chundawat, Himanshu Choubisa and Kunal Kumawat reached Student Welfare Office over the day.

Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (MLSU) election is scheduled on 30th August 2014. In these Elections, polling will be done for the posts of University President, Vice President, General Secretary and Joint Secretary.

Student Leaders File Nominations for University Election-2014

The nomination process started from 9am and continued till 3pm, where during the day 11 students submitted their names for 4 posts. In the process, contenders from affiliated colleges also put ahead names for respective posts at College level.

Election Officer informed that for the post of University President, four candidatures were filled in, viz. Himanshu Choudhary from NSUI, Devendra Singh from ABVP, Himanshu Choubisa (Independent) and Kunal Kumawat from CSS.

For the post of Vice President, two contenders viz. Gajendra Singh Rawal (ABVP) and Hari Om Meena (NSUI) filed their papers. 3 contenders, namely Ashok Menaria (NSUI), Bhavesh Purohit (ABVP) and Siddharth Prakash Soni (Independent) filed nominations for the post of General Secretary, whereas two nominations viz. Itti Meena (ABVP) and Bhawna Megwal (CSS) were received for the post of Joint Secretary.
