Gearing up for the assembly elections later this year, BJP led Suraj Sankalp Yatra’s first phase concluded today at Udaipur with a mass gathering, addressed by State BJP president Vasundhara Raje Scindia.
The party workers effectively gathered over thirty thousand supporters at Bhandari Darshak Mandap to attend the speech by top BJP leaders including Vasundhara Raje and Nitin Gadkari (former president of BJP).

More than 1200 km of ‘yatra’ covered 28 assembly constituencies since it started on 4th April from Charbhuja, Rajsamand.

Kataria mentioned, “More than One Lac Crore were allotted for the development of the state of which only 19000 crore have been spent on Mewar Zone.” He also claimed that BJP leaders have clean corruption free image.
Gadkari targeted the issue of electricity supply in the state and said, “The government of Rajasthan is under debt, every child of Rajasthan is indebted with Rs.16000 debt”. He promised the government of Rajasthan that BJP government will provide 24 hours of electricity.
Comparing Rajasthan with other BJP ruled states Gadkari said, “MP has a GDP growth rate of 12% and Agriculture growth rate of 18.9% which is way higher than Rajasthan’s 4.5% and 2.2% respectively.”
Vasundhra Raje tried to tap the emotional side of people and said, “Whole Rajasthan is my family. During my journey, I saw people of Rajasthan suffering; no factual development has been done by congress in any part of the state. For last 65 years, congress is looting the common man of India.”
Praising Narendra Modi, Raje said that we need to bring development and success like the government of Narendra Modi did in Gujarat.
