Threat to Kataria's Life, Police on High Alert
The senior BJP leader Gulab Chand Kataria who is a former Home Minister in Government of Rajasthan have been receiving threatening letters. The first letter was received in Feb. followed by the second letter which came in the first week of March at his Udaipur residence.

Kataria has given the letter for investigation which is undersigned by the Director General of Police (DGP) Harish Chandra Meena. The state police have been put on high alert. During the investigation the police have found that the letters had been send by the person named Prince Khatik from Kota.
The sender has tried to make connection with Soharabuddin Sheikh’s fake encounter case. As the sender in his letter said “Stop following Azam Khan”. Azam Khan is a witness in the Sohrabuddin case. The sender had tried threatening Kataria to come to Lalsot area in Dausa a town in Rajasthan State.
The officers have noticed that the sender had a low levels of formal education as his writing had errors and is incoherent.
Earlier, Kataria case was under the investigation of CBI. “Further investigations are still going on by the police.” said Mr. Kataria.
