Tribal leader Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena, MP from Dausa led a massive, but peaceful rally today in Udaipur, to elevate the issues of land acquisition for tribal population, residing across Mewar’s tribal regions. A large number of tribal also gathered in the city and marched to Divisional Commissioner’s office.

Meena urged Divisional Commissioner Subodh Kumar Agrawal to resolve the pending issues of tribals that includes handing over the ‘pattas’ to ethnic inhabitants residing in forest areas of Udaipur region. He also insisted to make Tribal Area Development cell in Rajasthan to connect tribal with main stream development.
In a few hours talk with Subodh Agrawal, Kirodilal Meena handed over a six page memorandum and a letter to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Agrawal assured affective steps to be taken after investigation in ‘Prashasan Gaon ke Sang’ program and all issues will be resolved.
Hundreds of protestors from Kherwada, Pratapgarh, Gogunda and Banswara gathered at town hall and marched towards Div. commissioner’s office. Rally was headed by Kirodi Lal Meena, who arrived in Udaipur yesterday.
