Udaipur AI Blackmail Case Twist: Opposition Leader Claims Big Reveal

Udaipur, Feb 26, 2026 - Political statements have intensified in Udaipur over the case of alleged blackmail of a BJP woman leader and the surfacing of names of certain office bearers. Leader of Opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly, Tika Ram Jully has once again raised the issue, claiming that he possesses 4 to 5 videos and that the entire matter will soon be exposed.

Jully alleged that the police reached the accused’s house around 4:00 am and took along individuals who allegedly broke the gate. He claimed that the intention of the police was to destroy evidence. According to him, while the DVR and hard disk were seized, copies of the videos had already been secured before that.

Earlier as well, Jully had said that certain videos would soon be made public. Some CCTV footage related to the incident has also surfaced, showing a few youths carrying hammers and crowbars. The footage reportedly shows DSP Geewa Gopal Chandel, police personnel and a man in a suit heading toward the house.

It is being reported that two youths arrived carrying a hammer and crowbar and were seen entering a lane along with a police officer. Questions are being raised about who these youths were and why they were present with the police. If they were not with the police, why was no action taken against them?

The case dates back to February 11, when a BJP woman leader filed a complaint at Bhupalpura Police Station in Udaipur against a lawyer, alleging that he created obscene videos using AI technology to blackmail her. Following this, police conducted a late-night operation between 3:00 am and 4:00 am and detained the lawyer from his residence.

Allegations have surfaced that during the operation, some individuals forcibly entered the lawyer’s house and vandalised the property while carrying weapon-like tools. The accused’s family has reportedly met Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab, accusing the police and certain youths of forcibly entering the house and exerting pressure.

The matter has triggered political reactions from Udaipur to the State level. However, BJP leaders have largely refrained from making detailed public statements so far. Police are currently investigating the entire sequence of events.
