Udaipur(Rural) MLA Phool Singh Meena was rushed to hospital after complaining of severe chest pain. He has been admitted to ICU in Cardiology department of MB Hospital and he is said to be out of danger.

Meena complained of chest pain and difficulty in breathing during a function today. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed to have Angina. While it was initially suspected to have had a heart attack, the same was ruled out after multiple tests.

Doctors have carried out preliminary tests and have admitted him to the cardiology wing of MB Hospital. While his condition is said to be stable, he has been advised rest by the doctors.

Large number of BJP members including State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria gathered at the hospital to check on his health.
