Congress candidate from Udaipur assembly seat, Professor Gaurav Vallabh launched the Public Resolution Note (Promissory Note) for Udaipur during a press conference organised on Tuesday, 21 November. While addressing the media during this launch, Vallabh expressed his anguish on the personal comments made by BJP candidate Tarachand Jain in the BJP election rally. Vallabh said that Tarachand Jain has not only insulted him personally, but also hurt the sentiments of the entire Brahmin community. Prof Vallabh said that he is a descendant of Maharishi Dadhich who sacrificed everything for others and even donated his bones.

Vallabh said that while he is not commenting on the Jain community or any other community for that matter, Tarachand Jain is not only avoiding public debate but is also attacking other communities.

Udaipur Public Resolution

Professor Gaurav Vallabh launched his public resolution letter cum promissory note for Udaipur City Assembly seat. The note talks about creating employment in Udaipur by promoting infrastructural development, enhancing opportunities for the mining industry, tourism industry, building underpasses and over bridges, opening new educational centres, establishing a full bench of the High Court in Udaipur, making Udaipur a medical hub, among others.  The note also includes cleaning the lakes of Udaipur, improving the overall cleanliness in the city, improving the traffic system, building a helpline for the safety of women, equipping it with CCTV and strengthening industrial development. The public resolution note also mentions timelines for each of the points. Five schemes have been promised to begin from January 2024 itself.

Aam Aadmi Party members join Congress

During the press conference, a dozen youth associated with Aam Aadmi Party got membership of Congress Party. Everyone said that after seeing the vision and education of Professor Gaurav Vallabh, they obtained membership of Congress.

Public Meeting in Moti Magri Scheme

A meeting was organized in Moti Magri Scheme area on Tuesday morning, in which Professor Vallabh interacted with the people of Moti Magri Scheme area and made them aware of his vision. During this time a large number of people questioned Professor Gaurav Vallabh, after which Professor Gaurav Vallabh informed about his priorities regarding Udaipur. During this gathering former Union Minister Girija Vyas also participated in the event.

Bohra Community

Prof Vallabh also interacted with the members of the Bohra community in Bohrawadi and in Fatehpura, during which he elaborated on his vision for Udaipur and highlighted that no visible development in terms of socio economic improvement has been done in Udaipur after the era of Late Mohanlal Sukhadia. Housing development, establishment of Universities, Markets in Udaipur was initiated by Sukhadia, but after that, nothing substantial has been done in the city. In his address to members of the Bohra community at Fatehpura in Udaipur, he said that "Har Nafrat Karne Wale ko Mohabbat Ki Dukaan par Gulaab ka Sharbat Pilaenge...jitni Nafrat zyada hogi, utna hi Sharbat Meetha banega".
