Candidates and parties have started going the whole hog in wooing students for the upcoming University elections. Two of the leading parties, Chatra Sangharsh Samiti & ABVP, inaugurated their party offices & tried to gather student support by throwing lavish parties.

Chatra Sangharsh Samiti (CSS), on the occasion of inauguration of its party office, welcomed the new students of MLSU by organizing a fresher’s party. In his welcome speech, Deepak Sharma (CSS Candidate) expressed his gratitude to the students for their presence.

Freshers, as well as the seniors, gave thrilling performances on latest bollywood songs.

“We are already in the lead by hitting the hat-trick from last three elections and now we are ready to smash a boundary by the fourth consecutive win” said Dilip Joshi, President CSS.

“On behalf of CSS, I wholeheartedly thank the students for making the program a big hit” said Joshi.

ABVP commences work at New Office

On the other front, hundreds of students gathered at the inaugural ceremony of the ABVP party office at Indraprasth Garden, Univ Road. Pankaj Borana, candidate for University President by ABVP, addressed the students present on the occasion.

Pankaj, in his speech, expressed his gratitude towards the students and promised that he will take the University to extreme heights, if wins in the president polls.
