University Election 2012 Concludes
On the concluding day of student elections at the University today, campaigners watched voters going in booth with their fingers crossed. Campaigning was stopped and it was the day of voters to decide the fate of all candidates. The results will be declared in the evening.

On the concluding day of student elections at the University today, campaigners watched voters going in booth with their fingers crossed. Campaigning was stopped and it was the day of voters to decide the fate of all candidates. The results will be declared in the evening.
The voting was concluded peacefully, with more than 5200 students casting their vote in their respective colleges. With their strong campaigning and tactics to lure voters, candidates were seen happy with the amount of students that showed up to cast their votes.
Alongside, Police had to use minor force (Lathicharge) for around 10 minutes at Commerce College against violent activists of ABVP and DSS, as one of the members argued and scuffled with a policeman. Tejraj Singh, Add. SP was also present on the scene. Few students were also arrested in the action.
A car (Maruti Zen) found with a Sword and Hockey-Stick is seized from the College of Science, MLSU. Campaign stuff related to Himanshu Ameta, Candidate was found from the car and Police is now looking for the car owner. The vehicle has been detained at Bhopalpura Police Station.
The results of the election are supposed to be declared in the evening. Voting started from 8AM and stretched till 1PM and now votes are being counted by the officials.
