Udaipur’s congress house at Chetak circle turned into a wrestling arena when few party workers got angry after not being nominated for University Election.

Pradeep Ghadwal (in photo)– state chief secretary of NSUI, Rajendra Singh Chundawat –secretary NSUI and one other leader got injured in a fight when a meeting was going on at congress house regarding the final nomination of selected members.

Pradeep Ghadwal who came from Jaipur today to nominate contenders, announced three names for various seats of president, vice president and join secretary.

Satish Meena is nominated for seat of president while Prakash Rao and Hitesh Paliwal are nominated for other two positions respectively.

The situation turned tense when the seat of chief secretary was given to Rajendra Singh Chundawat.

Parbat Singh Rana and his group strongly opposed the decision and protested violently which turned into terrible fight. Parbat Singh with nearly dozen of his supporters allegedly thrashed other party workers with sticks and sharp weapons.

According to sources, Rana and his supporters also misbehaved with Priyanka Jhala – ex president of Meera Girl’s College.

Situation came under control when some other people including congress worker and councilor Ajay Porwal intervene.

A police complaint is lodged against Parbat Singh Rana, Karan Meghwal, Devendra Shaktawat, Rizwan Khan and five other people.

While talking to media, Pradeep Ghadwal says “we are also going to take action against them through congress party office; they should be discarded from the party”.

District Congress President (Rural) Lal Singh Jhala also visited Police station Hathipol and look over the situation.
