Gulab Chand Katariya MLA (Udaipur) and Ex-Home Minister of Rajasthan turned 69 today. Various programs were organized by the BJP members, the Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha and Mahila Morcha.

Gulab Chand Katariya arrived at the Udaipur City Railway Station where he received a warm welcome by the party members who greeted the MLA with garlands and flowers.

After this Katariya went to the Temple of Sagas Ji Bawji at Sarvaritu Vilas near Gulab Bagh, and after worshiping their, Katariya went to the BJP Office at Patel Circle, where a large number of BJP “Karykartas” and local leaders including Dinesh Bhatt (BJP, District President), Moti Lal Dangi, Pramod Samar, Dalpat Surana, Chanchal Agarwal, Paras Singhvi and many others greeted him with garlands and shawls. A memento of Maharana Pratap was presented to him by Dalpat Surana and his group.

Katariya, on an emotional note said that on this occasion I am here because of the love and dedication of our ‘karykartas’ (party workers). He said, “I was not from a rich family but I reached here because of pure dedication towards the party and true belief of the party workers in me”.

Blood Donation Camp by the BJYM

BJYM President Jinendra Shastri organized a Blood Donation camp at Seva Bharti Hospital “Mullatalai” where almost 69 members donated blood to mark the birthday of Katariya. The units were donated to the Saral Blood Bank and 24 members gave blood to the “Mobile Blood Bank Bus” of M.B. Hospital.

Katariya encouraged the youth for this effort. He said that each unit can save a life and if everyone donates his/her blood then so many lives can be saved.

Jinendra Shastri presented memento of Katriya’s pencil sketch to him, which was appreciated by the MLA.

Katariya cut’s the Swadeshi Cake prepared by the Mahila Morcha

Gulab Chand Katariya was asked to cut a home-made “Besan Chakki” Swadeshi cake prepared by the members of the BJP Mhila Morcha. A large number of office bearers of the BJP Mahila Morcha were present on the occasion.
