Cabinet Minister Girija Vyas came forward to support congress contestant Dinesh Shrimali and toured the old city areas and appealed locals to vote for Dinesh Shrimali in the upcoming state assembly elections 2013.

Girija Vyas with other congress workers including Shrimali started the campaign from Jagdish Chowk and walked through the areas of Ghanta Ghar, Maldas Street, Boharwadi, Sutharwada, Ghanchi Mohalla, Dhanmandi and Delhi Gate.

The campaign was started after paying visit to Jagdish Mandir. Vyas requested locals to choose Shrimali as their leader.

Other congress workers including Neelima Sukhadia, Gopal Sharma, Trilok Purbia, Pankaj Sharma, Sharafat Khan, Jasvant Singh Tank, Bharat Ameta etc also accompanied Girija Vyas and Dinesh Shrimali.
