Self-Certification Draft Rules, 2026

UdaipurTimes, Oct 27, 2026 - Rajasthan Government has proposed the Rajasthan Legal Metrology (Enforcement) (Draft) (Third Amendment) Rules, 2026.  These rules have been proposed in line with the recommendations made by the Government of India under its initiatives for deregulation and reduction of compliance burdens.

Suggestions and objections have been invited from all manufacturers, repairers and users of weights and measures, trade organisations, industry associations and other relevant stakeholders regarding this draft. Interested individuals and organisations may submit their suggestions or objections via email to afcfood-rj@nic.in and secy-food-rj@nic.in within five days from the date of publication of the draft rules in the Rajasthan Gazette.

Suggestions or objections received after the stipulated period may not be considered.
