Big Bazar is finally equipped with fire fighting systems and has also obtained NOC from Municipal Corporation’s fire officer after site inspection. It may be noted that 2 of the city’s shopping centres were seized for not having proper fire fighting systems. This step was taken by administration after the fire incident in the educational complex in Surat.

Business in Big Bazar will resume after a meeting which will be held in Municipal Corporation. Vishal Mega mart is also supposed to ensure that the building is adequately equipped with fire fighting systems for which it was given a month’s time. The time period is not yet over and the seize orders will not be withdrawn unless rules are followed.
