Khadi Mela starts at Town Hall
Traders from nearby places of Udaipur district put their stalls of various items like clothes, eatables, traditional medicines, woolen items, apparels etc. Most of the things available in the market are either handmade or produced by small scale traditional industries.
December is always happening for Udaipurites as series of cultural events, sports and shopping festivals organized every year on this month. Recently, the much awaited Khadi Mela 2013 was inaugurated at Town Hall compound.
The annual trade fair ‘Khadi Mela’ is organized by State Khadi and Gramodyog Board. The purpose of the fair is to provide a wider platform to small scale industries and traders of the state who are manufacturing and trading under Gramodyog (Rural Industry) Board.

Mayor Rajni Dangi inaugurated the fair with other top political and administrative leaders. The fair will be continued for next 12 days.
